If I had to choose one word to describe myself, it would be "Storyteller".
My name is Anushka and I've spent 18 years in corporate finance fascinated by how stories connect people. And how numbers, when told well, can change the way people think and act.
At Westpac I managed large, complex cost portfolios and led financial governance for investment programs with real consequences for real people. I ultimately oversaw a $3bn divisional cost base as Acting Director of Expense Management, spending ~18 years translating financial complexity into clear, actionable insights for executives and CFOs who needed to make real decisions under pressure.
I am CPA Australia and CIMA UK qualified, bringing both the technical rigour and the commercial judgement that comes from working at the highest levels of corporate finance.
I started Decision Consulting because most growing businesses never get access to that level of financial thinking. They deserve to understand their own story. Where their profit really comes from, why cash feels tight, and what their numbers are actually telling them.
I work alongside accountants and bookkeepers, not instead of them. Tax, compliance and statutory reporting stays with your firm. I focus purely on the forward-looking financial strategy your clients need to grow.
I work with a small number of clients at a time. That's intentional. I want to understand your business properly, not just your spreadsheets.
Outside of work you'll find me with my dogs, travelling when I can, and currently channelling most of my energy into building something I genuinely believe in.
